Work at VHC

At the Vein Healthcare Center, we know that excellent patient care starts with exceptional healthcare professionals.

Our company culture is based on respect, and our approach to patient care is collaborative, comprehensive and, above all, compassionate. Every team member listens to patients’ concerns and provides treatment and support that exceeds expectations. We provide care for our patients in a new state-of-the-art medical facility that offers natural opportunities for social distancing as well as a modern HVAC air system designed to purify and exchange the air often to help reduce the spread of COVID-19 and other viruses.

  • 401(k)
  • 401(k) matching

We are always interested in meeting potential candidates to join our team, particularly Ultrasound Technicians and Medical Assistants. See below for current opportunities.

If you’d like to learn more about our employment opportunities, or to submit your resume, please email us at work@veinhealthcare.com.

Medical Assistant
We are seeking a detail oriented full-time Medical Assistant to work with patients at our expanding private medical practice. Team members who work 30 hours or more are considered full-time employees and qualify for full-time benefits.

Medical Assistants are the crucial backbone of our practice, providing a vital link between our patients and the healthcare providers. As an M.A. at the Vein Healthcare Center, you can expect to always be challenged at work, never be bored, and make a meaningful contribution to our patients’ wellbeing. It’s also an opportunity to contribute and support physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other medical professionals as part of a larger healthcare team.

As a Medical Assistant, you’ll often be the first point of contact for many patients, the first face they see when they come in, and the last they see when they leave. Part of your responsibilities as a medical assistant will be to help to keep patients feeling at ease in healthcare situations that they might find stressful.

The ideal candidate can work with multiple lists, manage their time well, and bring a strong work ethic to our team. Primary responsibilities include rooming patients, assisting with procedures, cleaning/stocking exam rooms, and general administrative support. Other responsibilities include wound dressing changes, documenting patient’s medical information, and educating patients about compression stocking therapy and self-administered injections.

Additionally, you must be able to demonstrate compassion with patients, understand insurance referrals and prior authorizations, and always be willing to step up and help where needed. Prior medical experience is preferred, however we would consider a highly motivated individual without any healthcare experience.

Patient Care Coordinator
We are hiring a Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) to join our team of dedicated problem-solvers. The Patient Care Coordinator is the first point of contact for our patients, on the phone or at the reception desk, so they must always put our patients and their comfort first.

Duties include welcoming patients, assisting them during the intake process, scheduling multiple appointments, and updating providers' daily schedules. Patient Care Coordinators should have the ability to understand a complex scheduling system -- individuals who love puzzles such as crosswords, word problems, rubik's cube, and other brain teasers have thrived in this position! Candidates should be able to multitask and be proficient with office technology, especially Microsoft Office suite.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years experience working in a fast-paced medical office and is comfortable learning a new EMR as well as new medical terms. Alternatively, they may have 2+ years experience as a project or operations coordinator in a fast moving environment, or as an executive-level personal assistant responsible for multiple schedules with a razor-sharp mind for details. We would also consider someone with 2+ years experience in an unrelated field, such as hospitality or customer service, with enthusiasm and interest in learning new skills.

Ultrasound Technician
We’re looking for an exceptional Ultrasound Technician certified by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) and/or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT), or Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RPhS) certifications to join our team (contract, part-time, or full-time position). Team members who work 30 hours or more are considered full-time employees and qualify for full-time benefits.

Ultrasound Technicians perform venous evaluation scans and multiple venous surgical interventions daily, working alongside our provider team consisting of two doctors, a Physicians Assistant, and a Nurse Practitioner, as well as four Medical Assistants, and three Ultrasound Techs. No call-shifts are required.

The ideal candidate has experience in venous exams, though we are willing to train the right individual with experience in other fields of sonography.
